TIB Rasilimali Ltd is seeking to employ candidates to fill the following vacant positions;


Principal Officer, Business Development

NATURE AND SCOPE:
A Principal Officer, Business Development works to improve an organization's market position and achieve financial growth.
This person executes the organizational strategic goals by building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals.
The incumbent will have good knowledge of the capital markets or financial markets industry and be up to speed with current market conditions. The incumbent will be required to steer transactions and deals from. inception to completion.
He/She will also help manage existing clients to ensure they stay satisfied and positive.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prospecting new clients and identify potential ones as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
Research and build relationships with new clients, plan approaches and produce pitch books.
Set up meetings between client decision makers and company's senior management or executives.
Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.
Present new products and services to enhance existing relationships.
Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
Work closely with Industry stakeholders, re9ulators, and participants to grow revenue, identify new opportunities, clients and products.
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends:
Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
Participate in pricing the solution/service and using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop 'the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company's CRM or other sales management system.
Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team, track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
Work with the team to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.
Present business development training and mentoring to other internal staff.

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
University Degree in Finance or Accounting,
Or a Master's Degree in a business, commercial or quantitative field,
Or Holder of CPA (T) or equivalent qualification.
At least 3 to 5 years' work experience in sales or marketing of financial or insurance products.
Possession of an industry related professional qualification will be an added advantage.
Excellent computer skills proficiency with word excel and presentation tools.
Knowledge of CRM Software or Data analytics will be an added advantage.
Good command of written and spoken English and excellent command of Swahili.
Presentable with good presentation and interpersonal skills.
Customer Centric attitude, a strong team player, self-driven fast learner and able to work under minimum , supervision .
